I was invited to join Georgia Tech in 2011 with the specific purpose of implementing some of the programs that I had developed at The University of Texas at Austin. My initial goals were to redesign the Georgia Tech website, rebrand the Institute and change the working structure of the Institute’s Creative and Brand Strategy Office to reflect a more focused strategic direction. Along the way we’ve built a world class design team, implemented a focused content strategy and reinvented the way we tell the Georgia Tech story.

Creating the Next Meaningful Brand

My next task was to define the Georgia Tech brand. Tech as well known for its nationally ranked engineering programs, but the Institute wanted to position itself more broadly, giving recognition to its Science, Design, Liberal Arts and Business colleges.
